    I interpreted it as a backhanded insult to Ukraine’s opsec capabilities and strategic planning that they would just effectively “drop it in russia’s lap” or something…

      It’s just an excuse, obviously. The real reason is because Bibi doesn’t want to do anything to upset Putin, and it’s been that way for years - they’ve always refused requests for military aid, they’ve never condemned the Russian invasion themselves or as part of the UN, they happily buy grain stolen from Ukraine.

      This was as predictable as Trump backtracking on patriot interceptor licensing, maybe more so because Bibi is merely an evil piece of shit but Trump’s also demented.

      They just side with r*ssia for some incomprehensible (to me) reason, constantly. While r*ssia hates them with passion (at least publicly) and supports their enemies.
