I went to see Sammy Rae & the Friends (great jazz pop band from Brooklyn), and nearly everybody was dressed in 1970s costumes! I understand at a metal show people wear black, but this was next level, very maximalist and intricate costumes. Are concerts all costume parties now, or this unique?
i was told that many concerts are like this now, but i mostly go to specific genres so i wouldnt know
I mean different genres have different vibes, some encourage going all out like edm and goth. You never really have to. In fact it’s a joke that the guy dressed like he’s going to an accounting job is probably the craziest in the pit
