I went to see Sammy Rae & the Friends (great jazz pop band from Brooklyn), and nearly everybody was dressed in 1970s costumes! I understand at a metal show people wear black, but this was next level, very maximalist and intricate costumes. Are concerts all costume parties now, or this unique?

right that’s why i’m asking people. i acutally go to like 4 or 5 show each year, this was the first time I saw this level, but i know that swifties wear her merch, etc. somebody told me it’s a thing but i wanted to ask more people
