We don’t even hate men, patriarchy isn’t just men, it’s fully intertwined with capitalism. We hate a system that actively devalues anything feminine, when what we really need is balance of masculine and feminine.

Yep. The hatred isn’t towards men, it’s towards violent hierarchical structures that harm and marginalize countless people.

Disgust is reserved for those who willingly enact and enforce that system.

I have a very similar point. Every time i see similar statements or posts, i feel somewhat uncomfortable, because there are many great men in this world which actually value women as people. The problem is with society as a whole and its untold patriarchic norms, which are especially bad when the rules and laws are based on them.

It is hard to fight patriarchy when it produces more of itself. People are forced to behave in certain “norms” even when they dont want to; for example when men themselves are being humiliated by dressing certain way they want. Kids are being educated by patriarchic parents simply repeats the cycle, unless they decide to break it themself as adults. And also, patriarchy harms every person, even men, but of course the women and lgbtq people are the most common targets.
