Uncomfortable in most applications but one of my favorite work outfits was this soft denim button down I paired with boot cut jeans. It was so flattering somehow?
I think fashion rules are meant to be broken and confidence is the most important factor when it comes to pulling something off.
Still, I reserve the right to lovingly use the term canadian tuxedo when it’s a jeans + jean jacket combo. It’s not a negative term to me and it just feels so silly.
I like to call the corduroy on corduroy variant a Detroit tuxedo
Crime against humanity, I refuse to ever do it. If I’m wearing a denim jacket I’m not going to even look at beans.

I sometimes do it, but the jeans have to be a different color than the jacket or I don’t feel quite right. Some people also add a denim button-down/vest/dress under the denim jacket, and that’s too much for me personally.
Now, if you add a bolo tie to all that, we can’t be friends /s
Personally its a huge nope from me, it reminds me of the denim/mullet days and other nightmares of the past

I like that too, remember that outfit Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake wore to an award show in the 2000s? That was tacky way too much denim I feel like.
Yep that dress and his “suit” are hideous, I think the problem lies with trying to make a utilitarian fabric into something fancy, so it fails miserably
The sofa though…tough wearing, probably easy to keep clean? If it was all one type of denim we’d be back in hideous territory, but the patchwork makes it awesome

I think you’ve got to be careful but you can pull it off.
Different colors/shades make it easier, and bright colors or other loud accessories help break up the block of denim so it isn’t as monotonous.
Seems to be a fashion trend, but back in the 70s this was just something that you wore, it didn’t have a name.
i think it’s cool and people shouldn’t make fun of me for it 😡
