Pictured is a hvac / refrigeration mechanic it’s not a bad gig speaking from 10 years personal experience.

What isn’t obvious when choosing a skilled trade is you’re still trading your time for a wage unless you go out on your own and leverage your skills to offer your own services and then you actually have to wear 5 hats lol but if the stress doesn’t kill you it’s a good life 😅

All I know is my coworker had to find a different plumber because the last one showed up in a corvette. And I’m pretty sure my uncle put a general contractors kids through college, and a trip to Hawaii.

I don’t understand, why did the corvette made him find a new plumber? Are these “fancy” cars and they felt they must be overcharging if they can afford it?

If a plumber shows up to your house driving a sports car, you can’t afford them.

I went to college and university. I tell my grandkids to be a plumber or electrician if you want a better quality of life.
