Dr. Annie Andrews, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in South Carolina, is getting national attention following the death of her Republican opponent, Sen. Lindsey Graham, over the weekend.

The Democrat, who handily won her primary in June, was expected to face off Graham in the November 3 midterm election. His sudden death at age 71 will scramble the race as South Carolina Republicans seek to replace their nominee.

Why is Lindsay Graham’s sister allowed to serve out his term? That’s absolutely wild and would not be allowed if this were a functioning democracy

Apparently the governor is allowed to call on whoever to finish up the term, not that there’s much of it left.

She has degrees in sociology and rehabilitation counseling, not at all what I expected from the sister of a shitbag sociopath, but what’s crazy is someone with that background endorsed his bid for president.
