I went to a park a few weeks ago for a morning walk. It was a long drive to the parking lot, and in that time the only people I saw were other women, all of whom were alone (or walking a dog.)

I know it’s a small thing, but seeing a bunch of other women walking alone made me feel like I made a safe choice in going there. The only thing that bugged me were the mosquitoes (pun not intended, but welcome.)
