Hello guys and gals, it’s me Mutahar again! This time we take a look at NetNut, a botnet claimed by Google and the Feds to be sitting inside the homes of users of cheap Android TV boxes running malware without their knowledge. This has been silently sitting in homes for two years and 7/2it got exposed and shut down by the cops.
Kind of weird to use a Star of David looming in the thumbnail, then say the company behind NetNut is “owned by Israel” when it isn’t.
Spyware like this made in Israel is no new thing (and I hope it goes without saying that boycotting and criticizing it is just fine), but claiming it’s owned/built by the state of Israel is a wild jump with no apparent basis in reality.
I personally find it quite… off… to be using the Star of David for this even if it has Israeli ties. The Star of David is not a symbol of Israel but of Jews in general, and most Jews around the world aren’t in support of Israel. It would be best to just use the Israeli flag instead of tying Israel to Judaism.
Or literally anything else, including a stock photo of a peanut. Muta seems to know better (because he claims in the video he’s been accused of antisemitism before), but that clearly didn’t factor into the picture he chose after he stopped recording.

Nice try Big Cable. I cut the cord a long time ago, these hackers can have my data. I trust them more than Concast or Roku with my data.
I just pirate and run an HDMI cable from an old laptop that couldn’t handle windows 10 but runs linux fine into my TV, fuck it, better, free-er, and more private.
