I think we’ve been way too fast and loose with medical science in the past like 50 years though, that there’s much better regulation than just piracy.
Like the fact they we don’t commonly have people ‘branded’ with cooperate chemical fuck ups is honestly a sign of the times
I highly recommend the podcast episode by Rob Reid and Sam Harris about synthetic biology. Especially if you like existential anxiety.
