I think it was Oliver but it might have been Stewart, one of the Jon’s was saying his issue with mail in ballots was likely twofold:

They have a hard paper trail that can be audited.

Musk rigged the elections off computer data, but they wanted to try and make it believable so gave trump +X% instead of a flat number. In 2020 tho X% of in person was less than his net loss on mail in, since they’re counted late, he can’t keep rigging as it goes.
Whether mail in or in person, we need paper ballots to exist if nothing but accountability reasons.
Go ahead and announce winners off electronic counts, but there’s still two month, every single election should get the paper recount just to be sure. If it’s off a couple, no big deal but we should look into it.
But if we see large scale differences…
We need to know that.
