Messier 44, also known as the Beehive Cluster, is a notable open stellar population located approximately 600 light-years away in the constellation Cancer. As one of the nearest galactic clusters to our solar system, it contains hundreds of stars that share a common origin and age of approximately 600 million years. Observations of the Beehive Cluster are essential for astronomers studying stellar evolution and the gravitational dynamics of star systems. Monitoring these celestial bodies provides critical data on the lifecycle of stars and the chemical enrichment of our galaxy.
