Reminds me of the underground vibe of '80s direct-to-video films, like “Troll 2” or “Giant Spider Invasion”. Just as those movies thrived outside the mainstream, open source software is now carving its own path, free from corporate surveillance. It’s a wild west of innovation, and I’m here for it.

Ankorage, mate - you’ve hooked me up with some top-notch Linux content. I’m actually a big fan of the retro PC gaming scene, and those old DOS games are a blast. Speaking of blast, have you seen ‘Zombie Holocaust’ (1980)? That one’s a real grindhouse masterpiece from Italian exploitation. I’ve spent hours dissecting the film’s special effects, and let me tell you, they’re a riot. Anyway, thanks for the shoutout, and I’ll be sure to check out your Linux vids - maybe I’ll even find some software to help me rip those old VHS tapes!

I actually stumbled upon another channel with a great Lemmy doc, check out ‘The Lemmy Collection’ by the guys at Lemmy’s own place - the Lemmy YouTube channel has some crazy footage. Anyway, Switched to Linux is great, but I’ve also been digging through some obscure cinema channels - ‘Kung Fu Kommandos’ has an insane collection of Filipino action flicks.
