Uk’s crust punk/sludge metal band with clear intent to adapt the mythology of the novel called “Watership Down” into this kind of extreme music. This is from their first of three albums released in 2006. Linked is probably their namesake song as you can hear it mentioned in the lyrics.
With this artist being punk-related here, there might be some aspects that aren’t for everyone, like for myself, it’s the voice - it took me a few spins for me to not mind it so much. But I’ve relented to say it matches the music well enough, which is crushing and pessimistic, yet melodic in a way; even epic when it speeds up occasionally. A great way to spend an afternoon is to go through the whole trilogy of albums.
