Very impressive. A shortie but a goodie almost 40 minutes. Full, hard, noisy, angry.

They’ve got that, those Thou screams, they sound a bit like Primitive Man, which makes sense given that I got Indian from the similar artists tab. They also remind me a tiny bit of Celeste, must be the hardcore elements. They’ve got a sound which seems to just, raise doom, in the literal sense of the word. Like imagine someone screaming from the top of their lungs atop a high vantage point, and the earth having been split and spewing all kinds of sounds and fire. As all of this is happening, the vocalist seems to open their arms wide open, and moving them up and up and up, as to accept and invite more doom to the world.

Hah, the first bit when the vocals hit I was like “Finally! Some good black metal adjacent vocals!”

On the end of “Rhetoric of No” track the noise at the end reminds me of a rattlesnake.

EDIT: Perhaps the only thing that is a bit sad about this album, is that it’s short, and I’m already rewinding it.
