Military analyst Preston Stewart @PrestonStewart joins American Power fresh off a trip to Ukraine to explain how drones, innovation, and battlefield adaptation are transforming modern warfare. From Russia’s energy vulnerabilities to the rise of Ukraine as a drone superpower, this conversation explores what Americans misunderstand about the war, how energy infrastructure has become a battlefield, and why every military in the world is studying Ukraine’s playbook.
“This is why I think we are in a really unique phase in this war, because you can pretty clearly see how 1 leads to 2 leads to 3. And I don’t think it’s the loss of Crimea or the isolation of Crimea. I think that is just part of what is playing out here, which is the isolation of the southern occupied territories.” - Preston Stewart
When it rains it pours… great discussion about the overall state of the war from a very knowledgable group of people.

What’s the alternative? Not defend yourself?
No they have to defend themselves. Aggressively as possible and cause lasting damage to Russia. I’m not sure what the nuke solution is - I guess give Russia something they can use as an off ramp and save a bit of face somehow - but I don’t know what that might be.
