OP, we should be friends. I can tie my shoes, but apparently my knots are so bad, they come undone in like 30 steps. I have complained for years about being four years old because of my shoes.
I can’t wear Vans anymore, but I have a lovely pair of Lems that look pretty close to the ones pictured. Cheers, mate

I’ve been using the Ian Knot from that site for years. I always used to struggle with other methods since I have fat clumsy fingers but this is just a flip twist and pull so I can tie my shoes in like 3 seconds per.
I’ve come to the point where I don’t think I could use the “normal” method if I tried. This site is a gem. I also enjoy the different lacing methods that are listed,
I also only recently learned of this, but with a bow tie, both of its knots have a handedness and you need to use a different handedness for each knot or they will keep coming undone.
