That must really tick you off.
Tucking, prymethrin and inspection. Tick guys words out of order but can confirm.
Why is that tick white like that, is that a empty sheep tick or do y’all have different varieties than over in NA? I’m mostly used to deer ticks.
In NA?
North America. Idk about ticks very well aside from the two I’ve seen around my whole life, deer and sheep. Then I learned about seed ticks (the hard way, covered in dozens and dozens), and at first thought they were a new kind I didn’t know about, but I think they are just baby deer tick (pinhead sized, yuck). Didn’t know if there’s varieties that aren’t around here I didn’t know of.
North America
But this is the Brisbane community, on the Australian instance?
Are we being elitist Zag ?
I know, but I browse by all, and it was before I really noticed the comm or instance :p that’s why I was wondering if y’all have different varieties of ticks. Never seen one that looked like that before here, didn’t know if white ticks were normal, or if maybe it was a sheep tick or something that was tiny.
I think it’s wonderful that you’re here.
Yes we have bush ticks, cattle ticks and paralyses ticks.
I’ve read in the states they say to save it and take it to the hospital to see if you need the Lyme disease pill. I don’t know if it’s a thing here.
There’s some good info in this interview: https://youtu.be/X53d7YBtjoM
Man, if I had to do that every time I had a tick, I’m pretty sure Medicaid would have stopped paying my bills lol

Deer ticks, in particular. They’re the main spreader of lyme disease in the US. You should keep an eye on any known bites for a growing ring rash which is an early symptom, though.
Plenty of ticks where I live too. I’ve had as many as you (but it’s not a competition - bloody annoying!)
Yeah this is the second one in a week. Or the same one that I didn’t get the first time maybe. They leave quite a big red mark. So tiny too.
