as an audhd trans woman ive always wondered whether people like me present more like autistic boys or girls as kids. im kind of afraid to look too hard because i dont want to feel invalidated, but i suspect we present more like girls. no one had any idea i was neurodivergent as a kid, which is more typical of autistic girls for a variety of reasons.

From my experience with early ages children who are autistic, I relate so much more to the girl’s experiences.
I definitely presented more like an autistic boy as a kid, so feel free to invalidate me 😅
