Honestly, I think things like this help with the midterms. Republicans are going to get hammered because of how massively unpopular the Iran War is (as well as Trump himself). Actions like this force Republican to publicly defend it, and let Democrats show that they’re pushing to resolve things one way or another.
Let them pretend to be doing anything, you mean. They aren’t doing anything.

I haven’t even read the articles but I’m going to take a guess and say this Demonrat only has qualms about the handling of this war and says nothing about how fucking disastrous it was starting it in the first place.
At the very least, it’s a great way to f with him, as he’s a convicted criminal who needs to be sentenced.
