These are a bunch of small comics I drew a couple of years ago. You can read them here and find a couple more here
Shortly explained, the comic is based in a world where canines are majority (land dogs), they can shape shift. My main character, Alon is a sea lion (a “maroane”, meaning a sea-dog) facing discrimination, so he hides his true self around to be able to fit in. He likes this girl who absolutely HATES his kind, but she doesn’t know what he truly is… soo… yeah.
I hope you guys enjoy it and, yeah, of course, i hope it fits withing the guidelines here? 😅 If you end up liking it, please let me know! 💜
Absolutely wonderful art. I hope to see more of these in the future :V
Alon seems popular with the girls, but he seems a bit unavailable… is it because his shape-shifting needs concentration, like a DnD spell?
You know what…? Yeah, that’s pretty accurate. It’s like when you cannot do two things at once
i hope it fits withing the guidelines here?
This here is a

Thanks a lot! I always get a bit self conscious because there’s a human and I’ve had my dose of people being angry in the past 🙃
Cute art and characters. I like it OwO
Thank you so much 😊
Looks absolutely amazing, excellent work.
Thank you so much!
@foxburrito The concept is interesting.
Is not clear to me if the first two issues are two different versions, or if they are connected.Thank you. Yeah, it is a bit messy 😥. It’s all connected over different timelines. The doodledog ones are compilations that happened over my twitter account, while Underdog had like a pilot chapter, and then the first one. So, again very messy. I just haven’t really had a proper time to clean and organise everything. I’ll look into this to make it easier to understand! But thank you! I do appreciate the feedback ☺️
@foxburrito It is fine: I don’t find there are no contradictions, it was just not clear how they were connected.
I think Victoria and Alon story is more about make them reflect in each other, than the relationship:
@foxburrito Both have lost somebody at the sea.
Alon is guilty for his mother death.
There could be some truth about selkies being a bad omen, or are just the circumstances that played against the characters.
The main conflict is their internal struggle and the relationship a way to develop them, than the way around.… however myself I’m not feel involved much in romantic tales if they haven’t some internal struggle about something, anyway.
@foxburrito Are there some reasons why Alon and Victoria stick together? Feels like they have mostly a crush, where Alon is driven more to get accepted by somebody who would discriminate him.
Like a reflection to be get accepted in the society in general.I don’t say it could not be a genuine relationship; I say… I don’t feel the leads are tied directly in their personalities in this stage, are more about circumstances.
These bonds are something I would see later in a story.@foxburrito As such… they could happen later, but also they could not happen at all and be more friends than else…
I think depends what turns out that is better for the rest of the plot.
