Then tax their assets where their wealth is. Again, a factory does not have feet. Industry cannot skip and hop away. It needs infrastructure that takes time to build. Commercial buildings are immobile.
Sure, I don’t disagree that companies should be taxed more (and better), but the article is still about personal taxes on billionaires and how that’s far harder to implement well than a land value tax which also would tax the super wealthy.
No its not. They have to draw that money as loans against their assets. Tax that shit. Anywhere. True it would be easier with the feds not on the oligarch side but we can tax them however we like. Its not impossible or even hard. Its just the rich have class solidarity and we decided money is god.
