Drive 13hrs in NZ and you would go from Wellington to somewhere in Northland; or the whole length of the South Island.

Basically the longest trip on “nice” roads in the North Island. Could make it 14 1/2 hrs if you take it to Cape Palliser; but that is basically the limit in NZ. I’ll say it again, FFS Oz is huge.
