No matter how bad Mozilla gets, it’s morally good to defend them against Google. I see anyone using Google’s products willingly as someone who is actively doing harm to the internet and the world at large.
II agree Mozilla should be defended against Google, but presently Google is the hand that feeds them. They should be exploring alternative monetization options, like what Brave and Thunderbird are currently doing.
Firefox, and the gecko emgine, is a direct competitor to google, brave is not. Brave uses blink, which in turn gives google more power in the consortium.
