Alumni Stadium isn’t far away in Boston, is owned by Boston College, and holds 44k people instead of 71k that Gillette Stadium holds. He could have tried to play there instead. He wouldn’t have needed to change too many plans regarding the stage because they’re both football stadiums with turf.
