It’s a matter of methodology. There’s no agreement on definition; so, you end up with ridiculous extremes at both ends (See: https://www.rand.org/research/gun-policy/analysis/essays/mass-shootings.html).
That’s a good point. Thought there was nearly one a day.
So despite being 75% of the population whites only commit about half of mass shootings. Interesting.
In other news, the most crashed airplane in history is the Cessna 172. Which also happens to be the most widely manufactured type of aircraft in human history.
Actually it’s more like 60%…
@Buelldozer @Innerworld The US is not that White (census says ~58%), and the next highest group listed is at 17%, so the 55% for just White people is quite high.
Now break it down to the shooters political orientation. I bet we’ll see a pattern.
