I’m an ex-spiritualist, used to really be into New Age. Seeing people go into QAnon was a big reason why I stopped. Never understood it at the time, considering the Right was everything I was taught a New Ager wasn’t. Sadly it’s not a big surprise in retrospect
People are attracted to New Age because they want to feel special.
