Who is Florence? I have never heard of their name before (were they a detractor of Engels or something?).
Well, she was an US activist that dedicated their life to social reform. While in Europe, Kelley joined the Germany Social Democratic Party and translated many of the party’s important works. Maybe, this is where she got to meet Engels.
