It’s always higher. Always, and that’s on purpose. There’s a reason why these motherfuckers never get audited, and it’s because even the minor revelations, like how the Pentagon spent millions this year on lobster and steak, are indicative of a level of theft and pillaging of the public treasury that might actually anger the plebs.

As for war, I wish everyone would oppose it, even when it’s being done by a president they like. The anti-war left decided to sit out the Obama/Trump I/Biden presidencies for some reason, and that they only care selectively makes it easier for the US to get ensnared in these military boondoggles.

I’ll never forget Dubya and his people telling us so confidently that Iraq would only last a month tops and wouldn’t cost more than a few billion dollars. That’s what Iran is going to turn into.
