Use a beloved superhero to override parental hesitation and push medical compliance directly into the brains of children. The only reason it was deleted is that test audiences found it too on-the-nose—even the studio knew they crossed a line. But the message was already baked into the production.

• Contagion (2011) : A film about a bat-originated global pandemic, lockdowns, and a vaccine race. It was released nine years before COVID-19. Was it a warning, or an acclimatization?

• The Hamburg Syndrome (1979) : A German film about a deadly epidemic in Hamburg. Victims fall dead out of the blue.
