Everything in life is consequence to our own actions though

Edit: That doesn’t mean other people don’t affect us of course. But by the time you’re an adult, there have probably been hundreds of times you could’ve killed yourself if you didn’t want to live with the hand you’ve been dealt. Surviving is voluntary. Anything you’ve ever done or has been done to you after choosing to survive, is a consequence to that choice.

Obviously I’m not saying that being born with a disability or as a discriminated minority is a consequence to our own actions. Living with it is a choice, though. One most of us make even despite being presented with hardships - otherwise the human race would’ve died long ago.

There’s a hell of a lot more other people than there are me.

Seems like most of the consequences i suffer are from other people’s actions

Nono, you totally just didn’t recycle enough aluminum and glass. Anthropogenic climate change is definitely your fault!

But every day you are suffering from your own decision to keep living. Existing in the world as we know it is voluntary.
