I’ve been low-key fighting with my crawlspace dehumidifier’s sump pump trying to get it to self-siphon once the motor stops to keep draining the rest of the sump and mostly further clear the line. I finally did it!

FWIW there wasn’t a lot of vertical space to work with and the horizontal distance was over 20ft.

Yes, we need to see! It’s not like I might build on off your solution. Just asking for a friend.

Haha I mean it is just a hose in a crawlspace and some zip ties. The trick was just getting the slope right.

What o really need is a video for proof!!

If you think I’m uninterested in a pic/vid of a DIY well sloped hose, you should think again.

Haha oh no I know you are. Just gotta get back under there for a repeat performance. There’s some logistics involved, but I need to get under there to adjust my zwave plug that is clearly shielded by the steel I beam and ruining my mesh. So it’s gonna happen.

That’s fair. So, how are you going to move the zwave plug? An extension cord, or you need to move the whole box?

6" Extension cord. Just so it hangs below the I-beam instead of literally tucked inside the I and shielding it from like 75% of the house. Even the multi sensor 3ft away, but on the other side of the beam would rather talk to other nodes!
