Watched on my phone so please correct me if I missed or misunderstood something. The young woman is an Israeli soldier who gets taken by Russian police who brutalize and intimidate the mom. Mom goes to Israel to ask for help and slowly uncovers that her daughter was mixed up in some covert shit for the IDF, so now she is trying to rescue her daughter while battling Russian amd Israeli spooks who are up to nefarious shit. Seems right?
If you’re expecting people to actually think, and have a modicum of nuance, you are on the wrong site.
As long as it lines up with popular belief, there will be little to no fact checking done.
This plot is so “genious”, that we simply cannot understand it.
