Maybe she was just ahead of her time. That would easily be possible today with the same tech used to mark the 1st down and line-of-scrimmage lines for broadcast.
It has nothing to do with it being possible or not, there are some plays where you try to fake out the defense into thinking someone else has the ball, this would ruin that.
Next they’ll put a halo around a hockey puck so you can tell where the damn thing is when watching the game on wireless SD TV.
I might be crazy, but technology has advanced, maybe it’s time for the glowing puck to return
Don’t hate me, but I kind of liked the glow puck, especially with the color changing in line with its speed.
Much like the little MPH speedometer for baseball pitches, having a little something to help give scale to how fast players are passing and shooting was nice.
I secretly love the glow puck too, which is why I like to bring it up.
It would also be interesting for those rare plays where nobody knows where the puck is, like when its stuck in the side of the net or in someone’s skate.
Turns out Kathy Ireland was the smart one. Who would’a guessed?
