Donald Trump wouldn’t nearly be this powerful without Obama’s expansion of the surveillance state. Neoliberals have contributed to what we’re seeing right now and it’s important not to forget that. During the Bush Administration all the neoliberals voted for the Patriot Act which basically created everything that’s killing people in the street right now.
