Just another voice yelling in the void.
I’ve probably protested for your rights. I’m definitely on at least one list.
I believe firmly that everyone should have a fair shake and as much freedom as they can be afforded - so long as it does not encroach on the freedoms of others.
Occasionally a wordy cunt who will type a book when a sentence or two will suffice.

Both did the job of explaining different functions of the dishwasher and demonstrating, as I mentioned, that expensive stuff did not “clean more better.” To that end he literally had things independantly tested (for the sake of highlighting powders being just as-good.) I’ll go on to point out that he made several comments about pods not using the pre wash.
Again, as mentioned, even with him recommending a product… That does not make him a reviewer. If anything it was a mild advertisement … On a talking head show.
To go back to what spawned this discussion - I wasn’t arguing with you. I simply thought you couldn’t understand what the show was… Or perhaps could not differentiate. The comments (initially) sought to teach.
But, exasperatingly, here we are.
At this point you are nitpicking and being pedantic to attempt to “win” an agurment not being had. Were not even discussing the original video in question. If I wanted to approach this with the same (pedantic) energy: I’d simply focus on it being obvious that anyone with a bit of sense would have noticed that the review seemed to lack… Price, length of stands, lumens… The list goes on. If it were a review it would contain an awful lot more numbers and an awful lot less personal opinion.
Square peg: round hole. I genuinely hope we leave it there.

His dish washing video went to great lenghts to explain how something works and why hot water matters with an additional comment on different products and cost not being everything. Like any continuing series he did dive deeper into various subjects… and he did suggest some things which he used or liked. That doesn’t make it a review. Venn diagram. Its an opinion not a review.
Point in case: was he reviewing kettles in his recent water boiling video? No. But… but he ran a timer!

Short generalized answer: it depends on the strip / strand… But if the strand has a brick at the end that is converting ac - > dc with 2 wires you can typically replace that with a better driver easily. It gets far more specific when a data line is introduced. It won’t fix cheap LEDs outright but it can change how they behave.

Its a talking head show. He’s not a reviewer. Remember Venn diagrams? Go watch a Chris Maher video where hes looking at lumens, voltage, build quality… And then look at this. Its almost as if its completely different content for a different purpose. Within that content they CAN talk about similar things or even the same product while producing a completely different video.
What is more infuriating is that they frequently don’t show the app / applet you are actually looking for until after they load a web result - which results in your muscle memory and just hitting enter working against you.

Something to that effect, yeah. I genuinely get people pointing out or raising the issue in the comments… If for no other reason than to perhaps inform the creator / community of something. But that has a far different energy than this. It almost always feels hostile.

I may never understand why people get pissed at creators focusing on an issue they are passionate about - because that viewers specific issue wasn’t mentioned or focused on. Surely there is content that aligns with what you are seeking without forcing every other creator to monologe out every possible edge case like a US drug advert reading out side effects.
I prefer to be optimistic that everyone’s reaction seems to be aligned with humanities best interests.
All that ford pinto energy with a more explosive package and better shrapnel. Its hard to miss.
… That and its hard to not see an oversized pinewood derby car wrapped in compensation. (Its ugly as fuck)

Look… What in nature haven’t we fucked.

Right outside your bedroom window.
Everyone’s mother wants to know your location.

Supply and demand… We have tons of ddr4 on the secondary market - if they try to spike retail too much it won’t sell at all.

They are going to get some banger deals on a lot of their competition when the bubble pops and those companies are being firesold by their investors.

Technicians are baffled how, even with an astounding 90% hallucination rate, this still was more reliable than windows search.

Its simply “visual noise” that tricks the viewer into thinking they are getting more of something than they are. Its a cheap inconsistent filler. Its nvidia not admitting they hit a technical wall and needing a way to force new inferior products onto the market to satisfy sales.

Awaiting the camera that inspects your feet for issues and no-other-reason in 3… 2…

A trip to japan may reveal that smart may not be a thing but borderline magical just might be.
Both were still named Bob… Oddly enough. Completely understandable confusion.
