I think the era of the Clinton / Obama conservative, heritage foundation friendly democrat is coming to an end thankfully. That’s why they are so salty - they realize their power is waning.

I’m convinced Trump and Project 2025 are trying to destroy the US - not just weaken the administrative state. This type of bull shit hurts our ability to compete globally and corporations benefit from that hugely. Unitary executive theory has been being practiced and pushed to overstep presidential powers since the Reagan administration. The checks and balances aren’t sufficient. It’s not just the right wing take over - it’s the whole structure is antiquated and too vulnerable to this type of manipulation.

The executive branch needs to be restructured. Too much power is concentrated there.
