2·3 days agoJust looked it up Switzerland is smaller than I thought it was. For other Americans, it’s roughly the size of Maryland or West Virginia.

Why would you guess? They have carbohydrates. It’s certainly not an efficient choice, but not impossible to do.
Even if that were true, that’s irrelevant to being able to ferment them. They have calories.
Whether or not your body burns more in your attempt to consume them does not impact if they can feed yeast.
You can make it from pretty much anything with sugar/starch content

2·5 days agoYeah, these laws are incredibly invasive, and potentially crippling to smaller manufacturing operations.
Weren’t internal emails leaked where YouTube and Instagram argued the exact same thing about themselves? And they tried to make it worse.
If the dangerous men were as easily distinguishable from the not dangerous ones as bear species, then the answer would be different. Because that’s women’s entire point - you often can’t tell until it’s too late
Most species is bear don’t hunt people. You see one, you back away slowly, and you’re good. If there’s food in your, you drop it. They’d rather eat your granola bar than you.
If you actually listened to the reasoning that women gave (crazy, right?), they were very clear that with a bear, you know where you stand, but with men, you can’t tell right away whether they’re a danger or pretending to be nice only to be harmful later on.
Any men who get offended by this fact is part of the problem.
Yours is the exact attitude that causes women to flee. Bitterness is not attractive.
But why? Why would you write into a bill that passing the bill isn’t really passing the bill and that it needs to be passed again to pass for realsies that time?
Was it was designed to fail? That’s such an utterly fucking pointless and stupid thing to do otherwise.
Why the fuck would it need to be re-passed after already passing?

Only 4 out of 9 VPs who finished someone else’s term have ever been reelected, so it’s not as sure a thing as a normal incumbent.
