No, Sailfish

Yep! Android 10-17 are purely regressive. Pixel OS has had some extra new features sprinkled in, which lately just means Gemini party tricks, but the Android Open Source Project has been dead for a long time

I don’t have to throw the whole thing away just because the lid magnet needs calibrating. Speaking from personal experience

It’s pretty easy actually. The framework is meant to be a forever laptop, and every other option is destined for the landfill

Tell me more about these unlocked blu-ray drives… please

d’oh! yeah you’re right

Apple does it at least a little more sensibly imo. When you open Activity Monitor on your 18-core macbook and see the single number indicating CPU usage is at 600%, you get a better idea of how intensely your machine is working. An equivalent windows/linux machine would report 50%, all other things equal

Capitalism has to become less capitalistic? Is he dumb?

If you’re really considering possibly (probably) worsening the performance of your tv just to download Peacock, might I suggest you buy a $20 streaming stick instead? They can all get Peacock

What do you need to update your tv for?

Yeah, dying to see Ragnarok on PS5 vs Ragnarok on PS5 freed

Oh no yeah, I don’t doubt you can find them. I was saying it’s absurd you don’t find yourself lucky. Also the idea that someone looking for a laptop has to be looking for the absolute bare minimum, technically usable laptop. In that narrow scope, Framework (and also every other manufacturer) doesn’t make sense

It’s absurd that you think so

You’re extremely lucky to be able to find a decent laptop for €100-€200
A laptop you only have to buy once is more of an economical choice than a political/ideological (???) one imo

That airpods issue sounds infuriating. Never experienced it though in the 8ish years I’ve been using them. Author seems to think the quality of the next MacOS version, revealed in 6 weeks, is a reasonable metric to gauge the new CEO’s priorities

Just pirate them. You aren’t boycotting if you don’t boycott. Everyone already doesn’t buy the things they don’t want to buy. And, while Capcom is on an absolutely legendary run, their games on PC have been consistently marred by denuvo and other home-brewed diseases

Never suggested anything of the sort. That’s your personal issues acting up again

If you think that reality is devalued by grabbing your attention, that’s a personal issue, not reality’s.

I haven’t watched either but have you considered that maybe the title is describing what’s in the video?
A bunch of good points, from what I can gather is a chronic contrarian. The article is addressed to a caricature of an entitled clueless person. Nothing of value added to the discussion
